Maurice Lacroix Pontos S Solar and Solar Chronograph
Maurice Lacroix presents two limited editions of the Pontos Solar with vibrant accents that contrast with the black dial and the satin-finished and polished case, treated with black DLC. Alongside these special pieces, Maurice Lacroix introduces the Pontos S Solar and the Pontos S Solar Chronograph with black or blue dials and aluminum bezels in black, blue, or green, each perfectly harmonized with the watch’s aesthetic.
The dial features a translucent smoked finish in black or blue. Contrasting against it are the applied indices and faceted hands. Both the indices and hands feature Super-LumiNova, offering high readability even in low-light conditions.
The Pontos S Solar is powered by the recent Ronda 215, while the Pontos S Solar Chronograph integrates the Ronda 2040.D. Designed and developed in Switzerland, these movements combine exceptional precision with a high power reserve: 8 months of autonomy on a full charge for the three-hand version, 5 months for the chronograph, and over 10 years without needing a battery change.
Both models feature a steel case with a diameter of 42 mm and a thickness of 13 mm. They have a closed case back with a special diving engraving. Water resistance is up to 20 bar (200 meters).
Price
The time-only model has an approximate retail price of €1,190 for the version with a rubber strap, €1,290 for the stainless steel bracelet version, and €1,490 for the version with a fluorescent orange rubber strap.
