Now, the Hölstein manufactory brings a fresh, bold interpretation to its most signature creation, gracing its dial with a captivating oxblood red shade.

The rich contrast of the deep burgundy dial against the cathedral hands, applied indices, and Arabic numerals—all filled with Super-LumiNova®—ensures flawless legibility alongside a refined aesthetic. True to its functional heritage, the central date hand features a signature red tip that traces the outer 1-to-31 date track around the dial.

Its 40.00 mm stainless steel case maintains balanced proportions (47.50 mm lug-to-lug and a 12.00 mm thickness), crowned by the distinctive domed sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating inside and the iconic oversized crown that gives the line its name. In this execution, the case seamlessly integrates with a multi-piece H-link steel bracelet featuring alternating brushed and polished finishes and a folding clasp.

Beating inside the Big Crown is the dependable Oris Calibre 754, an automatic mechanical movement built upon the brand’s proprietary pointer date architecture. Visible through the screwed stainless steel case back with mineral glass, it operates at a frequency of 28,800 vph (4 Hz) and offers a 41-hour power reserve.
