At H. Moser & Cie., the past is never merely something to be kept under glass. The Neuhausen am Rheinfall manufacture reconnects with the purest roots of its watchmaking legacy with the unveiling of two new creations in its most understated line: the Heritage Chronograph White Fumé and the Heritage Centre Seconds Espresso Fumé. These two steel timepieces reinterpret the aesthetic of early-20th-century pocket watches and aviator instruments through the contemporary lens of the brand’s signature fumé dials.

Heritage Chronograph White Fumé: A Thirst for Exploration
Inspired by Moser chronographs from the mid-20th century designed for pioneers and explorers, the Heritage Chronograph White Fumé (Ref. 8220-1200) pairs instrument-like measurement precision with distinct vintage charm. Its steel case measures 42.0 mm in diameter and 13.8 mm in height, featuring slim wire-style lugs and a prominent notched onion crown adorned with the brand’s logo.

Set against the White fumé sunburst dial, the historic H. Moser & Cie. logo from 1947 makes a notable return. The classic bi-compax arrangement features a small seconds subdial at 9 o’clock and a 45-minute chronograph counter at 3 o’clock, complemented by a perimeter tachymeter scale. Blue hands, numerals, and graduations deliver crisp legibility and strong character.

Powering the watch is the in-house automatic calibre HMC 220 fitted with a Dubois Dépraz chronograph module, visible through the sapphire case-back. This model is issued as a limited edition of 100 pieces and comes fitted with a grey hand-stitched kudu leather strap.

Heritage Centre Seconds Espresso Fumé: Where Tradition Meets Character
The Heritage Centre Seconds Espresso Fumé (Ref. 8200-1207) presents a purist three-hand design evoking early wristwatches converted from pocket watch silhouettes[cite: 41, 44]. Housed in a steel case measuring 42.0 mm wide and 11.1 mm thick, its centerpiece is the warm, deep Espresso fumé dial bordered by a white railway minute track.

Nighttime legibility and dimensional presence are provided by oversized applique numerals made of Globolight—an innovative ceramic-based compound impregnated with Super-LumiNova. Driven by the in-house automatic calibre HMC 200, featuring an original Straumann hairspring and at least 3 days (72 hours) of power reserve, this edition is limited to 200 pieces and comes paired with a raw brown kudu leather strap featuring white contrast stitching.
