Originally founded in 1828 by Heinrich Moser and reinvigorated in the 21st century by the Meylan family, the brand is celebrated for defying industry conventions with minimalist design, striking fumé dials, ultra-black Vantablack® surfaces, and ingenious high complications hidden behind deceptive simplicity.

Moser & Cie. operates as a fully integrated manufacture alongside its sister company, Precision Engineering AG, making it one of the elite few capable of producing its own balance springs and regulating organs. Producing fewer than 3,000 watches per year, Moser combines traditional hand-finishing—such as double hairspring setups and interchangeable escapement modules—with avant-garde materials like Vantablack® and cylindrical tourbillon springs.
