Swiss watchmaker Favre Leuba continues to expand the lineup of its recently revived diving collection with the launch of the new Deep Raider Day Date Two-Tone. Following the release of the initial stainless steel versions, the iconic maison founded in 1737—the second-oldest Swiss watch brand—introduces a touch of classic elegance to its professional tool watch series by incorporating yellow gold PVD-treated accents paired with 316L stainless steel.
Priced at EUR 2,450 (USD 2,700 / GBP 2,100 / CHF 2,100), this new iteration embraces the two-tone diver trend. The model successfully balances modern professional dive watch specifications—including 300 meters of water resistance—with a retro-inspired aesthetic crafted for everyday versatility.

Two-Tone Architecture and High-Legibility Sandwich Dial
The 316L stainless steel case maintains versatile proportions suited for any wrist size, measuring 40.00 mm in diameter, 12.50 mm in thickness, and 48.20 mm lug-to-lug. The two-tone contrast is featured across key exterior elements: the screw-down crown, the unidirectional rotating bezel fluting, and the central links of the integrated bracelet all feature a refined yellow gold PVD coating. The bezel is equipped with a ceramic insert displaying a matching gold-tone diving scale.

For the dial, Favre Leuba selected a two-part sandwich construction. The lower layer holds Super-LumiNova® C1 X1 (emitting a bright blue glow in dark conditions), which reveals itself through the recessed elongated hour indexes. The collection offers three dial color options: solid matte black, alongside striking blue and green variants featuring a gradient finish fading to darker tones at the perimeter. The main hands and Favre Leuba’s signature hourglass emblem at 6 o’clock also receive the gold PVD treatment.

Swiss Mechanics and Day-Date Complication
Powering the Deep Raider Day Date is the automatic FLD05 caliber, based on the reliable Sellita SW-220-1 movement architecture. Operating at a frequency of 28,800 vibrations per hour (4.0 Hz), it incorporates 26 jewels and offers a 38-hour power reserve. The day and date aperture at 3 o’clock provides the option to set the day display between English and German directly via the crown.

The timepiece comes fitted with an integrated three-link brushed and polished stainless steel bracelet featuring gold PVD center links. Thanks to its tool-free quick-change system, wearers can easily swap the two-tone bracelet with any rubber strap or steel bracelet from the Deep Raider collection.
