Zenith Chronomaster Revival Liberty II

| |

To mark the celebration of the 250th Anniversary of the United States, ZENITH presents the CHRONOMASTER Revival Liberty II, a special edition that perpetuates a long history of dialogue between the Manufacture and the American spirit. Following the success of the first CHRONOMASTER Revival Liberty, a North American exclusive version inspired by the design codes of the late 1960s, this new chapter deepens the narrative with a more symbolic and commemorative approach.

“In the mid-19th century, Swiss watchmaking operated under the traditional “établissage” system, in which various components were produced separately before final assembly. During a formative trip to the United States, Georges Favre-Jacot discovered a radically different method. Struck by the efficiency and modernity of American industrial organization, this experience was decisive in making his own vision a reality. Determined to rethink the very structure of watch production, he set out to gather all trades under one roof, laying the foundations of the first fully integrated Swiss watch Manufacture and redefining the standards of precision and consistency.

At just 22 years old, Favre-Jacot carried out this project with remarkable entrepreneurial determination. He expanded the Manufacture far beyond conventional limits, developing tools, machines, and entire infrastructures to support production. His ambition was clear: to create the “perfect watch,” where technical mastery and refinement coexisted in complete harmony. Today, this lasting commitment to mechanical integrity remains deeply rooted in ZENITH’s identity.”

Zenith Chronomaster Revival Liberty II

Those of you who follow this humble watch website already know that I love almost any Zenith revival model, and this new CHRONOMASTER Revival Liberty II is no exception. A watch that updates one of the Manufacture’s most emblematic references, the A384 model from 1969, faithfully reproducing its distinctive 37 mm tonneau case. It is available in two versions: stainless steel and a highly limited version in forged carbon.

The dial is white lacquered with blue counters, enhanced by a striped chronograph hand inspired by the American flag, featuring alternating 13 red and white stripes in reference to the original colonies. The blue tachymeter scale along the design is paired with the number “250” and the number “4” highlighted in red on the date disc, subtle details that reference both the colors of the American flag and the symbolic date of its independence.

As we have already mentioned, the case measures 37 mm in diameter. It features an open caseback that allows viewing part of its caliber, specifically El Primero 400, a direct descendant of the famous 1969 movement, the world’s first integrated high-frequency automatic chronograph. Operating at a frequency of 36,000 vph (5 Hz), it achieves an accuracy of a tenth of a second and has a power reserve of approximately 50 hours.

The CHRONOMASTER Revival Liberty II is presented in two exclusive versions: a stainless steel edition limited to 250 pieces, a number in keeping with the anniversary it celebrates, and a forged carbon edition limited to just 25 pieces, offering a more contemporary interpretation. The stainless steel model includes two bracelet options: a stainless steel “ladder” bracelet and a blue “cordura” effect rubber strap that prioritizes comfort and adaptability. For its part, the carbon edition is offered exclusively with a blue “cordura” effect rubber strap.

Price and Availability

Both editions are available exclusively in the United States. The approximate retail price is $10,600 for the steel model and $13,400 for the carbon model. Zenith
