Let’s take a look at another of the new releases presented by Tag Heuer at Watches and Wonders 2026, the new Monaco Evergraph. Presented in two different versions, the TAG Heuer Monaco Evergraph is entirely contemporary and pays tribute to the brand’s rich history with a titanium version with blue details evoking reference 1133B, popularized by Steve McQueen, and a titanium version with black DLC coating and red details, inspired by TAG Heuer’s racing DNA and its signature color palette.

“The 1960s marked the beginning of a decisive new era for the Maison, under the leadership of Jack Heuer, in which iconic models such as the TAG Heuer Autavia and the TAG Heuer Carrera were born. In 1966, the Microtimer achieved a precision of one-thousandth of a second, highlighting the brand’s commitment to high-frequency innovation. Two major milestones culminated this momentum in 1969: the launch of the original TAG Heuer Monaco, which redefined watch design as the first square, water-resistant automatic chronograph, and the presentation of Calibre 11, the first automatic chronograph movement available on the market.
That same year, Heuer became the first luxury brand to appear on a Formula 1 car with Jo Siffert, laying the foundation for its motorsport legacy, which expanded with Scuderia Ferrari in 1971. This collaboration gave rise to the Le Mans Centigraph timing device and the iconic images of drivers wearing the solid gold Carrera, reference 1158, further consolidating the brand’s presence in the highest echelons of motorsport.
The acquisition by Techniques d’Avant Garde (TAG) in 1986 marked the birth of TAG Heuer and the launch of the Formula 1 collection. In 1989, Ayrton Senna made the S/EL chronograph part of his signature style, reinforcing the brand’s connection with elite drivers over the decades, along with Michael Schumacher and Mika Häkkinen, while serving as the official timekeeper of Formula 1®.
More recent innovations pushed the boundaries even further with the Aquagraph, precision chronometry of one-ten-thousandth of a second at the Indianapolis 500, and radical high-frequency concepts such as the Mikrograph, the Mikrotimer Flying 1000, and the Mikrogirder. In 2017, the in-house manufactured Heuer 02 chronograph movement evolved into the Calibre TH20.
With more than a century dedicated to the chronograph, it was inevitable that TAG Heuer would once again reinterpret this complication from the perspective of haute horlogerie. In 2024, the TAG Heuer Monaco Split-Seconds chronograph laid the foundation for what would come next with TAG Heuer Avant-Garde Horlogerie.”

TAG Heuer Monaco Evergraph
Two new watches created on the basis of the popular Monaco, incorporating a new and advanced calibre, built with compliant components and developed entirely by the TAG Heuer LAB.

Featuring a one-of-a-kind chronograph mechanism built with compliant components and developed entirely by the TAG Heuer LAB, the Calibre TH80-00 reinvents both the functionality and the tactile experience of operating the chronograph complication. Equipped with the TH-Carbonspring oscillator, this new movement ensures magnetic resistance and precision, along with a frequency of 5 Hz, a 70-hour power reserve, COSC certification, and a five-year warranty.

The dial is continuous with the style of the Monaco collection, although it reaffirms one of the main innovations of this watch, its calibre. A transparent acrylic crystal dial, with white and red markings and applied white Super-LumiNova indexes, reveals fine-brushed and sandblasted bridges coated in black DLC. It has two counters: a minute counter at 3 o’clock and a small seconds hand at 9 o’clock.

The titanium case measures 40 mm in diameter, with the bezel, crown, and pushers in materials matching the case. The crystal is domed and beveled sapphire. It features an exhibition caseback and water resistance up to 10 bar (100 meters).

In both models, the strap is made of rubber.
