Following a solid track record in the development of high-performance independent calibres, Oris updates one of its great mechanical icons. The redesigned ProPilot Calibre 111 combines the robustness and refined aesthetic codes of its aviation line with a striking dual dial option and the legendary 10-day power reserve crafted in Hölstein.

Aesthetic Evolution and Dial Refinement
Following the recent renewal of the ProPilot Date, which introduced a tauter silhouette and a more visually arresting profile, the Swiss manufacture has applied the same design codes to its flagship hand-wound watch featuring a ten-day power reserve. The signature turbine-inspired fluted bezel and oversized screw-down crown remain firmly in place, preserving the collection’s historical aviation DNA.

The main visual highlight lies in the complex execution of its dials, available in deep black and an elegant pine green. Oris introduces a sophisticated blend of textures: a fine vertical brushing across the main surface that adds a more formal feel, surrounded and poked through by a secondary organic texture inspired by nature, adding a rich three-dimensional effect. The applied numerals and hands feature subtle Super-LumiNova® treatments to guarantee optimal legibility under any lighting conditions.

Calibre 111: 10-Day Autonomy with Non-Linear Power Reserve
Beating at the heart of the 43 mm multi-piece stainless steel case is the in-house Oris Calibre 111, a hand-wound mechanical movement developed entirely in Hölstein. Powered by a single large barrel, the timepiece offers an impressive 240 hours (10 days) of continuous power reserve.

Positioned at 3 o’clock is one of the brand’s most celebrated mechanical complications: the non-linear power reserve indicator. This ingenious system features an expanded scale as the mainspring unwinds, delivering ever-increasing detail and accuracy to the user as the moment to rewind approaches.
