Grand Seiko celebrates the 25th anniversary of its first manual-wind 9S caliber model by paying tribute to the original design launched in 2001. The new Grand Seiko Elegance SBGW325 brings back the distinctive raised Arabic numerals that defined its predecessor, pairing them with a deep indigo blue dial inspired by traditional Japanese craftsmanship.

The stainless steel case measures 37.3 mm in diameter and 11.7 mm in thickness, retaining the gently rounded profile characteristic of the Elegance collection since 1960. The deep navy blue dial features applied Arabic numerals with a pronounced relief that adds remarkable depth and three-dimensional legibility. The ensemble is completed with a box-shaped sapphire crystal featuring an anti-reflective coating on the inner surface.

Adjusted to six positions, it delivers an accuracy rating of +5 to -3 seconds per day and a 3-day (72-hour) power reserve. Its fine finishing is fully visible through the see-through exhibition case back.
