Zenith Chronomaster Sport Skeleton

| |

A short while ago, at Watches and Wonders 2026, ZENITH has presented its new Chronomaster Sport Skeleton. Through its openworked architecture, the Manufacture reveals the mechanical complexity of its most emblematic caliber while simultaneously introducing a new patented folding clasp.

The CHRONOMASTER collection perpetuates the legacy of El Primero, the world’s first integrated high-frequency automatic chronograph caliber. Since its inception, the movement distinguished itself by operating at 5 Hz, i.e., 36,000 vibrations per hour, a frequency that set it apart from other mechanical chronographs and consolidated high-frequency precision as a defining element of ZENITH’s watchmaking identity. Over the decades, this architecture has evolved while remaining faithful to its original principle: improving chronometric stability and precision through a high frequency.

The CHRONOMASTER Sport Skeleton is available in four distinct versions. Two stainless steel versions: one with a green ceramic bezel paired with gray-toned dials, and another with a black ceramic bezel combined with the signature tricolor dials featuring gray, anthracite, and blue counters. A third version is crafted in 18-karat rose gold, paired with a black ceramic bezel. Completing the collection is an exclusive limited edition of 10 pieces in rose gold, featuring a matching gold bracelet and crowned by a bezel set with 50 baguette-cut diamonds.

The case measures 41 mm in diameter and features sapphire crystal on both the front and the exhibition caseback. It offers water resistance up to 10 bar (100 meters).

Inside is the El Primero 3600 SK caliber. An automatic mechanical movement featuring a stop-second mechanism, a column wheel capable of measuring and displaying tenths of a second, and a silicon escape wheel and lever. It has a power reserve of 60 hours.

With the stainless steel CHRONOMASTER Sport Skeleton, ZENITH introduces its new patented folding clasp, ZENCLASP, developed to enhance both security and comfort for daily wear. Characterized by its smooth, rounded lines, its ergonomic design ensures a natural fit on the wrist, while the integrated safety lock system and micro-adjustment mechanism provide a secure hold and a precise fit.

The folding clasp is secured by a flip-lock safety cover adorned with the ZENITH star. Designed for intuitive and precise operation, its locking system is reinforced with ceramic ball components that ensure precise locking and maintain the exact relative position of internal elements over time.

Price

The approximate retail price varies depending on the version, from €16,500 for the steel versions to €111,400 for the gold and diamond version. Zenith
