Richard Mille has always maintained a unique and passionate relationship with high-performance professional cycling. In a world where every component, every micro-adjustment, and every single gram can dictate the boundary between victory and defeat, cutting-edge Swiss watchmaking finds its natural ecosystem. After solidifying its presence in the peloton alongside cycling legends like Tadej Pogačar, Mark Cavendish, and the UAE Team Emirates, the brand takes a historic step forward by partnering with Colnago, the legendary Italian bicycle manufacturer.

The definitive fruit of this collaboration is the spectacular RM 64-01 Tourbillon Colnago, a masterpiece of micromechanics limited to just 50 pieces worldwide.
A Tubular Architecture Inspired by Cambiago’s Frames
The design of the RM 64-01 serves as a direct homage to the most iconic racing bikes. Its highly graphic, skeletonized calibre is built upon three core pillars: lightness, transparency, and volume. The intricate tubular structure reveals its 274 individual components with absolute clarity, mirroring the structural engineering of a competitive racing chassis.
The grade 5 titanium upper bridges are lacquered in white and hand-painted with distinctive sky blue and red-gold accents. Their unique star-shaped geometry directly references the legendary Colnago “Master” frames of the 1980s, which were famous for increasing torsional rigidity without adding unnecessary weight. Completing the cycling-inspired details, the red-gold hands are sculpted to evoke the shape of a bicycle’s crankset.

Bicolor Quartz TPT® and Red Gold: Next-Generation Materials
The case of the RM 64-01 Tourbillon Colnago beautifully balances raw sporting aesthetics with the refinement of precious metals. Measuring 43.21×49.94×14.23 mm, the tripartite case is crafted from White Quartz TPT®, an ultralight and exceptionally resilient composite material.
In a brand-new aesthetic development, the notched bezels feature custom Blue Quartz TPT® inserts. This specific sky-blue hue was developed exclusively for this timepiece as a tribute to the Colnago “C68”. Luxury touches are provided by the inner rehaut and the crown cap, both executed in 18-karat 5N red gold, with the crown further adorned with a subtly lacquered clover—Colnago’s unmistakable emblem.

The RM64-01 Calibre: High-Frequency Power on the Wrist
The mechanical heart of the watch is a hand-wound technical tour de force. Its architecture exhibits perfect symmetry: the fast-rotating barrel (positioned at 1 o’clock) visually counterbalances the variable-inertia tourbillon (positioned at 7 o’clock), mimicking the fluid dynamics of a bicycle’s chain drive.
This gear train delivers 65 hours of power reserve, optimized by a central involute profile on the wheel teeth that ensures ideal energy transmission. Furthermore, the highly skeletonized baseplate and bridges are made of microblasted grade 5 titanium with black and grey PVD treatments, guaranteeing maximum structural resistance against severe shocks and torsional stress.

Technical Specifications: Richard Mille RM 64-01 Tourbillon Colnago
The Richard Mille RM 64-01 Tourbillon Colnago is far more than a high-performance sports watch; it represents the definitive convergence of two engineering philosophies obsessed with speed, structural lightness, and hand-crafted artistic excellence.
