Staying true to its longstanding commitment to ocean conservation, Oris introduces a captivating new charitable timepiece developed alongside its ambassador and award-winning underwater photographer, Francis Pérez. Limited to 1,000 pieces worldwide, the new Oris Kelp Forest Limited Edition pays tribute to giant kelp forests and their vital role in oxygen production and carbon capture.

A Visual Tribute to Underwater Kelp Forests
Based on the well-established architecture of the 41.50 mm Aquis Date, this high-performance dive watch immediately stands out for its elaborate dial design. To capture the fluid beauty and shifting tones of kelp swaying in underwater currents, Oris utilized an innovative 3D-printing technique that gives the surface a distinct texture and a rich green-and-gold color interplay.

The design is complemented by subtle golden outlines on the Super-LumiNova®-filled hands and applied indices, making the dial appear to come alive and catch the light as if submerged in the ocean. Housed in a robust stainless steel case water-resistant to 30 bar (300 metres), the watch features a uni-directional rotating bezel with a green ceramic insert and minutes scale.

Calibre 733 and Commemorative Case Back
Beating inside is the automatic Oris Calibre 733 (based on the Sellita SW200-1), a reliable Swiss movement featuring instant date function, stop-second device, and a 41-hour power reserve.
On the reverse side, the screwed stainless steel case back bears a special kelp motif engraving along with the unique limited-edition number (XXXX/1000). The timepiece is fitted on an elegant three-link stainless steel metal bracelet with brushed and polished surfaces, complete with the brand’s convenient quick adjust and quick change systems.
