Following the consolidation of the collection’s second generation, the British brand led by Edward Farmer presents a model where phosphorescence moves from a secondary feature to the true technical and visual centerpiece.
Inspired by the camouflage capabilities of the praying mantis—an insect engineered to remain unseen while the watch seeks the exact opposite—the Mantis retains the compact dimensions and refined architecture of the Gen2 while adding a massive load of high-performance luminescent material.
Multi-Layer Sapphire Dial and Super-LumiNova X1 C3
The uniqueness of the Mantis’ dial lies in its hand-assembled two-tier construction. The main brass base dial receives seven consecutive coats of custom-formulated Super-LumiNova X1 GL C3, delivering an intense green phosphorescent glow.
Positioned above this luminous base is a 1mm thick top disc made of sapphire crystal, secured via mechanical pins. This sapphire disc carries the minute track, brand typography, and Arabic numerals. In low-light conditions, the powerful emission from the base projects the silhouette of the printed elements in sharp contrast, creating a 3D depth effect reminiscent of night-vision displays.
Compact 37.5mm Case and Sellita SW200-2 M Caliber
True to the well-proportioned profile defining the Gen2, the 316L stainless steel case measures 37.5mm in diameter, 11.5mm in thickness, and features a lug-to-lug length of 46mm. The two-part architecture comes with brushed finishes, an 18mm lug width, and a water resistance rating of 100 meters (10 ATM).
At its mechanical core beats the hand-wound Swiss movement Sellita SW200-2 M Power+. This caliber upgrade boosts the power reserve to 63 hours (up from the standard 42 hours), operating at a frequency of 28,800 vph (4 Hz) with hacking seconds and a regulated accuracy of -7/+7 seconds per day. The solid caseback features an engraving of a jellyfish as a visual nod to the watch’s electric glow.

Every 02SERIES Mantis unit is individually assembled in Great Britain by a dedicated watchmaker, whose initials are recorded on the official paperwork included with the watch.

On the commercial front, shipments to the European Union are processed under DDU (Delivery Duty Unpaid) terms.
