Swiss watchmaker Tissot expands its women’s portfolio with the introduction of the new Tissot Désir Moonphase collection. A lineup that pays homage to the poetry of the lunar cycle through six distinct iterations defined by a subtle interplay of light, textures, and restrained proportions, tailored for slender wrists.

With a compact case diameter of just 29.6 mm, the Désir Moonphase line embraces a distinctly feminine aesthetic backed by strong architectural presence. Key design elements are thoughtfully offset across the case anatomy, including the winding crown—positioned at 2 o’clock and topped with a black ceramic cabochon—and the moonphase complication aperture located at 5 o’clock.

Nocturnal Aesthetics and Silky Dials: Two Celestial Visions
The Désir Moonphase collection is structured around two design pillars. At the heart of the series are two models echoing the depth of the night sky with deep blue dials scattered with mineral inclusions that evoke shimmering stars. One variation pairs this starry backdrop with a diamond-set crescent moon, while the second option opts for classic Roman numerals set upon a peripheral track.

🌙 Poetic Complication: Mother-of-Pearl Moon Disc
As a signature detail across the lighter dial executions (silver, golden beige, red, and two-tone), Tissot incorporates a natural white mother-of-pearl disc into the moonphase subdial. This material selection enhances visual depth while catching and diffusing ambient light with wrist motion.
In contrast to the dramatic dark blue variants, four softer interpretations feature sunray and silky textured finishes. Available in silver, golden beige, a bold red, and a refined two-tone iteration with yellow gold PVD accents, these pieces are adorned with diamond hour markers for an added touch of sophistication.

Refined Proportions and Daily Ergonomics
Beyond its aesthetic charm, the Tissot Désir Moonphase relies on a rounded 29.6 mm stainless steel case designed for seamless wrist comfort. The construction is protected by a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating and provides a water resistance of up to 5 bar (50 metres / 160 feet).

The watch comes mounted on a slender multi-link metallic bracelet that gently tapers from 13 mm at the lugs down to 11 mm at the folding clasp. Driven by a precise Swiss Made quartz movement equipped with an End-of-Life (EOL) battery indicator, the collection ensures effortless daily timekeeping.
💎 Fine Watchmaking Touches
Tissot pays close attention to detail across the Désir range: skeletonised leaf-shaped hands bring lightness to the dial layout, while the integrated ceramic cabochon crown at 2 o’clock subtlely breaks traditional symmetry to reinforce its standalone character.
