For this release, Jacob Arabo’s Maison harnesses one of the oldest and most fascinating materials in the solar system to give a distinct personality to its dials: the legendary Muonionalusta meteorite.
Discovered in northern Sweden, near the Arctic Circle, this metallic meteorite struck Earth approximately one million years ago, although its origin dates back more than 4.56 billion years. What makes each timepiece truly exceptional are its natural Widmanstätten patterns: geometric, interlocking structures of iron and nickel formed over millions of years of cooling in the vacuum of space. Impossible to replicate on Earth, these unique formations ensure that every single dial serves as an unrepeatable cosmic fingerprint.

To reveal these intricate extraterrestrial geometries, the Muonionalusta meteorite is sliced into ultra-thin discs and subjected to a specialized chemical etching treatment. Once the rich natural texture comes to light, the material undergoes a stabilization process to protect it against corrosion before being crafted into watch dials.
