For the first time, the hero and the antagonistic organization, Spectre, share the same high-horology canvas through six timepieces that explore duty, discipline, and personal ambition.

Since its debut on James Bond’s wrist in 1995, the Seamaster Diver 300M has established itself as a contemporary icon of instrumental and sports watchmaking. However, OMEGA’s latest release moves beyond a simple cinematic homage to delve into an exercise of aesthetic and technical duality: three models dedicated to the famous British spy and three dedicated to his historic nemesis, Spectre.

Built upon an identical case architecture and movement, each variant crafts its own distinct identity through materials, dial finishes, and meticulous decorative execution on the movement’s case back.

Regular Production Stainless Steel Editions

Both stainless steel editions feature the well-known 42 mm diameter Seamaster Diver 300M case, paired with the signature brushed mesh steel bracelet that has been so well received in recent saga releases.

The James Bond edition features a brushed Grade 5 titanium bezel insert that contrasts cleanly with the blue anodized aluminum dial, laser-engraved with the traditional wave pattern. The exhibition case back reveals the movement’s rotor, decorated with the iconic gun barrel spiral.

On the other hand, the Spectre edition adopts a clear tactical and industrial aesthetic. The bezel uses polished black ceramic, while the dial replaces the waves with a matte grained texture that absorbs light uniformly. On the case back, the rotor displays an embossed engraving of the criminal organization’s octopus emblem.

For discerning collectors, OMEGA has created two limited-edition sets restricted to just 77 numbered presentation boxes worldwide. Each box houses an indivisible pair: one stainless steel model featuring a numbered commemorative plaque at 9 o’clock on the case flank, alongside a piece crafted in gold-platinum.

The gold-platinum timepieces represent a significant step forward in terms of finishing. The black ceramic bezel features diving scale markers filled with platinum via vapor deposition, while the dials are forged from 18K white gold with a gradient PVD treatment.

The oscillating weight, visible through the sapphire case back, is crafted in 18K Moonshine™ gold and customized with the respective faction motif. The set also features the Naiad Lock precision screw system, ensuring that the case back design remains perfectly aligned with the vertical axis of the case.

Mechanical Architecture: The Co-Axial Master Chronometer Calibre 8806

Beating inside the entire collection is the renowned in-house automatic movement, the OMEGA Calibre 8806.

Selecting Calibre 8806—rather than the date-display 8800 variant—stems from a pure design requirement: preserving the flawless symmetry of the dial without an aperture at 6 o’clock. Thanks to anti-magnetic materials in the escapement and the Si14 silicon hairspring, the watch dispenses with an inner soft-iron cage, allowing for full view of the decorated movement.
