TUDOR revives one of its most daring and sought-after 21st-century designs: the North Flag, returning to the catalog with a second-generation redesign, integrated GMT complication, and official Master Chronometer certification by METAS.
The North Flag holds a landmark position in modern TUDOR history. In 2015, it became the brand’s first model equipped with an in-house manufacture movement. Today’s update pays direct tribute to the 1950s British North Greenland Expedition while refining the bold, polar-inspired design language inherited from the historic 1973 Ranger II.
40 mm Integrated Steel Case: Cold-Climate Aesthetics and T-fit Adjustment
The new TUDOR North Flag GMT features a 40 mm case in 316L stainless steel (12.7 mm thick with a 48.8 mm lug-to-lug distance), defined by crisp satin-brushed surfaces and polished bevels. The integrated two-link bracelet flows seamlessly from the case profile and incorporates TUDOR’s rapid-adjustment «T-fit» clasp, enabling up to 8 mm of tool-free micro-adjustment across 5 positions.
On the matte black dial, hour markers are crafted from monobloc luminous ceramic treated with Grade A Swiss Super-LumiNova. A 45-degree angled inner flange displays a 24-hour scale, while the vibrant yellow arrow-shaped hand provides instant dual-time reading.
In-House METAS-Certified MT5652-U GMT Calibre
Beating inside is the Manufacture Calibre MT5652-U, visible through the sapphire crystal caseback. Designed with integrated GMT functionality, this automatic movement features an anti-magnetic silicon balance spring capable of withstanding magnetic fields up to 15,000 gauss, alongside a 65-hour power reserve.
In addition to COSC chronometer testing, the complete watch is certified as a Master Chronometer by METAS, ensuring precision within a strict 0/+5 second daily tolerance.
