The Big Crown Pointer Date has been a constant in the Oris collection since 1938. Today, the Hölstein manufacture introduces a completely reimagined vision of this historical icon with a new 29.00 mm diameter case, designed to offer a decorative, sophisticated proportion perfectly suited for slender wrists.
This new variant scrupulously preserves the line’s original DNA—the distinctive fluted bezel, oversized crown, and peripheral pointer date complication—while refining each element to enhance its elegance. The crown features a more ornate tapered design, the hour and minute hands have been skeletonized, and the central date indicator harmonizes in tone with the rest of the dial rather than contrasting.
The dial showcases a dual-finish design combining a sunburst brushed center with a grained outer ring. The timepiece launches in two colorways (black and rose-gold-coloured), available with either a leather strap or a new multi-link stainless steel bracelet with a butterfly folding clasp. Powering the watch is the automatic mechanical Calibre Oris 534.
