Evolved Design: Concave Bezel & Enhanced Ergonomics
In line with the line’s updated design language, the 41.00 mm stainless steel case incorporates a sleek concave bezel that enhances wrist presence and adds structural character. Every component—from lug profile to dual-sided anti-reflective sapphire crystal integration—has been refined for a contemporary take on timeless elegance. Measuring 13.80 mm in thickness with a 48.60 mm lug-to-lug distance, the model offers exceptional proportions on the wrist.
A key functional upgrade for this generation is the introduction of a new folding clasp with a built-in micro-adjustment mechanism. Available on both the blue alligator leather strap and the stainless steel bracelet, it allows for fast, precise micro-adjustments on the go.
Barleycorn Dial & Maximum Information Density
The dial retains its signature silver-toned grain d’orge (barleycorn) guilloché finish paired with nine applied Arabic numerals and blued steel hands. Despite the high density of complications, the sub-dial layout remains remarkably cohesive and readable:
Timekeeping is enhanced by a central crescent-moon date hand. Small seconds and a 24-hour indicator share the sub-dial at 9 o’clock, the 30-minute chronograph counter along with day and month apertures are situated at 12 o’clock, and the 12-hour counter topped by the moon phase complication resides at 6 o’clock.
Exclusive Calibre L687.5: Automatic Column-Wheel Engine
Powering the timepiece is the exclusive manufacture Longines Calibre L687.5, a self-winding mechanical movement built around a column-wheel architecture for optimal chronograph operation.
Fitted with a monocrystalline silicon balance spring, the movement provides outstanding resistance to magnetic fields and temperature shifts. Beating at 28,800 vibrations per hour (4 Hz), it delivers a power reserve of up to 66 hours. The entire movement is visible through the transparent sapphire caseback.
